An Equestrian Wedding.....

Last night I went to my cousin's wedding, which was super cute and vintage and funky. It was at Brookside Equestrian Center in Walnut, CA (Link to where it's on a popular wedding blog, Style me Pretty: http://www.stylemepretty.com/2010/08/18/diy-wedding-by-alders-photography/) It was pretty much the same as the wedding on the link, right down to the Mr. and Mrs. signs on the chairs.

We made these awesome and super easy balls of styrafoam and pinned little bits of burlap, mustard yellow felt and other yellow fabrics on the styrafoam and hung them above the dinner table.

My uncle made the picnic tables for the wedding. On the wedding party's tables, he branded their initials! So cute!

At each table, there was a different plate for everyone! I kept on making sure my favorite plate stayed with me! haha It was gorgeous, with the lights over the dance floor and those amazing trees and being able to pet the horses! So sweet!

At the wedding ceremony (conducted by my step uncle)he gave each of the parents a plant picked out by the wedding couple and said "it's to fill the hole in their lives", something to nuture after their children are gone. Needless to say, sniffles were heard all around the room! But, I don't cry at weddings, in the words of my sister in law: "So what? They got married! It's not that big of a deal!" I love her!

The maid of honor was actually my second cousin, who my cousin is super close with. My second cousin is 6 or 7 and it was really sweet.

There was also a photo both, sweet! We love those! Pics will follow from their photographer and I will post them!

Also, here's a link to their creative and detailed wedding invites:
